While it's definitely something unique, I'd say an MP5 is a bad way to do it. You'd probably be better off cannibalizing an Ares L1A1 for parts or to buy old surplus bits and pieces. The geometry of an MP5 stuck in the middle would look odd.
If you're wanting to get the proper look, the F1 and the Sterling SMG both used the same mags, and there's a few Sterlings on the airsoft market. The receiver can probably just be made of a proper diameter pipe, kinda like the AGM STEN. As for the geometry of the gun itself, it looks like you could possibly use these types of gearboxes, depending on how you set up the trigger and such: Ares L1A1 proprietary: V6 P90 type: V6 Thompson type: V1: V2 Masada type; For the hop-up, I'd say your best option is a P90 type: But you could use something like the ZB-30 hop: Also, since the gearbox will probably get in the way of a faux bolt, you'll have easy access to the hop from the ejection port.

Looks like you want to get a S&T sterling and rotate the magwell 90 degrees.
