First Pistol, need some help and looking for some answers.

Good evening all.

Just got AV'ed not too long ago. And I was interested at getting into airsoft. Upon looking in store and online, I thought that a Glock style pistol is what I intend on getting.

I've narrowed my pick between the HK3P Glock 17 or 19 due to trades and (from what I've read so far) reliability.

I intend on using the pistol as a basement plinker, maybe a few indoor games and possibly a prop. I was curious as to if the pistol mag release was swappable to be on the right side (I am left handed) and if it would be suitable choice for indoor CQB games.

Thanks!

I don't think there's any replacement parts to switch a glock to lefty, besides maybe an ambi slide release. Most guns don't have out of the box ambi magazine releases, I believe.

If you want a glock with correct trades, I have a TM glock for sale with upgrades if you're interested. If not then I hope you find what you're looking for ina pistol. Sorry I wasn't much help.

I think that is not possible. But I am not an expect at Glock series.

I am a lefty too. I own a TM hi-capa 5.1 and I looked into changing that. As for my case it is not really possible. Most major parts of the gun need to be mirrored for this to be possible.

Plus I used my pistol as secondary. As a result I practice my pistol with right hand and primary with left hand. It allow for better response during CQB games.

p.s. If it is your first gun, I suggest that you get a primary rifle first and leave the pistol for a later purchase.

I'm pretty sure it can be switched on an M&P style pistol but not ambidextrous.

I'd put money on the M&P being ambi for mag release. From the mag well, and shape of both sides of the release, looks like it's certainly doable. And there's a catch on either side of the mag as well.

I believe the Gen 4 Glocks do have reversible mag release. No luck on ambi slide release, but you're supposed to power stroke the slide anyways
