HK SL8 to SL9 conversion
Quick question for the SL8 owners out there. Is it possible to replace the handguard and top rail of the SL8 with the SL9/G36 style rail and handguard? Is it a straightforward swap? Does it require modding?
Any help is appreciated!

Yeah, It is extremely easy. As far as I know, all brands are compatible with each other, expecpting the stocks.

Litterally two screws to remove ande slide the thing backwards. Done!

Sounds great. I've been meaning to get the SL9 but its got a really long wait time at the moment. The only thing keeping me away from the SL8 was the top rail and handguard style.
Lastly, which top rail and handguard should I be looking for if I want to match the look of the SL9. Should the handguard be from a G36c, G36, G36k or G36E? What about the top rail? Thanks guys!
