Broxa Upgrades
Does anyone know what the first upgrades I should do?
I know the hopup rubber is crap, and the spring is too strong, but can someone guide me in the right way? |

The term upgrade is a rather loose term. What is your ultimate goal of your upgrade? To achieve more FPS, more rounds per second or simply to prolong the life and enhance the durability of the mechbox?
For a broxa, I would replace its bushings if they are not already metal, even if they were I would replace them with something that was made from a quality reputable company.Aside from bushing I would also recommend replacing everything related to its compression system and hopup system. So that means new cylinder, cylinder head, air seal nozzle , piston, piston head and a new hop up. Since your in there you might as well toss in a bearing spring guide as well. PS. Just because there has been a lot of attitude lately. First person who posts a buy a better gun comment gets an infraction.

That is not a title I would be proud of.
The cost of replacing all those part is equal to almost 3/4 the cost of the gun itself if you actually use reputable companies parts and not cheap chinese made upgrade parts. You should purchase a ported cylinder designed for 200-300mm inner barrels. PS. When upgrading its best to buy all the same company. Since companies generally manufacture their parts to work best with their own parts.

If you put TM or Systema internals it should last you at least 100,000 rounds
(I think) And as for a spring since you're going to be upgrading the other internals, stick with the stock spring.

Well, TM guns are really good in stock form for the long run, with a 300 fps spring.
Systema is, from my knowledge, one of the best, if not the best company avaible for upgrade parts From what i've read here modify ain't bad too, less expensive but good quality based on systema design. If I remember right broxa's are hot out of the box. If I was you, I would think about a spring change for something around 350 fps to reduce stress.

Does anyone know whether I would want to just get a new hopup rubber, or entire system

Change the spring to an modify 90 or 100.
replace the battery and charger with higher quality stuff. Play with it for a few games, then look at upgrading it.
