me again, yeah I always have trouble with my guns...

anyways, I just filled my GBB (KSC M9) with green gas and it fires fine but I have to cock the slide before each shot so a BB will come out, otherwise the slide functions properly, just no BBs are coming out...

Does the slide pull all the way up ? if it doesn't slide all the way up then it won't load the next BBs, You might to take out your slide from the frame and check out the problem or you maybe don't fill enough gas in your magazines, it happen when you don't have enough gas then it doesn't have enough pressure to pull the slide and load the next bbs.

Lube all the sliding parts up as well.. That should help it a bit, But if there is an underlying problem, Lube may not fix the issue. Check everything thoroughly.

well the slide seems to go all the way back and I think theres enough gas in the mag since I fill it up all the way to when gas starts splashing out.

he means the coleman tank not your mag. when the source tank is nearly empty there might not be enugh pressure transfered to move your slide back 100%.

My knowledge of GBBs is far less than many around here, but have you checked the hop-up setting ?

Are BBs leaving the magazine and stacking in the barrel ? If yes, hop-up could be dialed to full.

If not, is the magazine spring moving freely ?

I had a similar problem. It was because the loading nozzle stayed stuck in the hop-up.

It happened because your nozzle return spring was damaged and because the nozzle + slide needed some lubricant.

That's what he is saying, no ? The gun does cycle, just no BB. He needs to manually re-cycle it for a BB to leave the barrel.

not sure. sounds more like it won't fire again. ie, hammer isn't locking back.

OP: can you put an empty mag (no BB's) in your pistol and shoot multiple shots while holding down the slide lock? or do you have to cock the slide again to get it to shoot or can you dry fire a couple times? actually, does the slide lock back when you're out of BB's?

This is really something to try. It solved two of my problems:
My WE Luger would auto fire until mag was empty.
My KSC USP Tactical would shoot one BB every other shot, and not lock the slide when mag was empty.

Pull the slide back slowly, and look at the nozzle come back. It will tend to stick to the hop-up; it should normally start moving back almost as soon as the slide goes back.
Use some spay silicon and be generous on the nozzle and give a the hop-up rubber a bit of spray too.
Then move the slide a gain and observe the prompter retraction of the nozzle.

Try this and post the results please:

Fill mag completely.
Put 5BBs in the mag.
Cock the slide and make sure the hammer is locked.
Insert the magazine.
Fire 1 shot only.
Check hammer status (locked, half lock, down).
Slowly pull the slide back until the nozzle retracts.
Note where the nozzle leaves the hop-up to jump back.
Complete the pull and lock the slide with the catch.
Check inside the chamber if a BB is present.
Let the slide go with the catch.
Fire again.
Re-check in the chamber if there is a BB.
