Quick & potentially easy question
I found a new sig 552 hop-up system and I'm wondering what the spring and (what looks like) a metal ring is used for as my hop-up system doesn't have them.

the spring goes around the inner barrel between the outer barrel assembly and hopup, when the hopup unit is twisted in, it holds it in place. The ring also goes around the inner barrel at the mouth of the hopup, between the spring and hopup, to fill the space between the inner barrel and hopup (end of the bucking).
