Plastic Vs Metal
Ok my newbie question of the day is I'm looking at some King Arms magazines and i was wondering if there is a big difference between the plastic ones for $49.00 and the Metal ones for $85.00
http://www.airsoftparts.ca/store2/in...oducts_id=1122 (plastic) http://www.airsoftparts.ca/store2/in...oducts_id=1425 (metal) If someones has already asked that question sorry Thanks in advance |

both work. plastic are one piece molded where as metal one can be taken apart.
metal is more realistic and heavier. plastic is affordable. metal can hold up to a fair amount of abuse. plastic are cheap enough to replace when they break. the question is, how deep are your pockets? |

Metal mags are nice. Hefty, solid, nice-feel/sound when you insert them. The insert (the actual guts) can pull out from the metal shells. Carrying 10+ gets real hefty by the end of a long day.
Plastic mags feel like toys. Cheap in cost, you won't cry if you loose one in the dirt somewhere over the last hill, they may split (just crazy glue shut) but won't pull apart. Sooooo much lighter than metal mags at the end of a long day. Buy a box of each....sell the ones you don't use and buy more of the ones you do. |

I use STAR mags.
They're great in the sense that you can lose and drop them and not really have to worry about them (I did go searching for one of my STAR mags that I dropped but I wasn't thinking "oh shit oh shit oh shit I just dropped a $15 mag". I have no feeding issues to report, I've been using Optix's BB King BB's, Madbull, Metal Techs and BB Bastard BB's and they all feed nicely, nothing really worth mentioning. Other than the occasional misfeed/double feed. However, all that being said. Now that I have more money to spend on mags and such I've got some new mags coming in. PS: Note that if you buy Magpul "Green Label" PMags the OEM company that makes them is STAR.

thanks all for the quick reply
as for how deep my pockets are not very. Ive set myself a 1500 limit to start of with something close to a good gun and equipment. So well I'm on that subject I have come up with this list any suggestions would be great cause I'm buying from reviews and such. ICS-48 S.I.R. $509.00 King Arms M4/M16 (10pc) $98.00(Plastic) x2 Hurricane 552 Replica Red/Green $199.00 Wasatch Chest Rig $160.99 Total 1039.99 It takes too long to earn another 1500 so i would like to get stuff right the first time. |

Decent.
The hurricane sight is nice (at least the ones I've seen). You might find others that are just as good but cheaper...unless your heart is set on that particular one. Most of the RDS that I've come across have been $30-90-120...some better than others...but all usable. Get a good loader (i.e. TM XL Loader). Crappy cheap loaders suck. Buy a good spare battery and a good "smart" charger. The charger will pay for itself in quality and convenience in the long run. Tys |

1.Why do you need 20 magazines, you can probably carry 15 max, and they arent going to break, so I'd just buy 10 for now, and see how it goes. 2.Your paying to much for both the magazines and the Eotech. As I stated the Star Magaziens I will be purchasing are 10 for $30, good price. Also you can buy a good quality Eotech, such as a King ARms or G&P, I've heard that the Hurricane has terrible ghosting and is very dim. G&P 80-110, King Arms, 100-150 Correct me if I am wrong.

if you get age verrified then you can get a better gun for the same price i would assume. smart chargers pay for its self saves you money on batteries

I would get a Huang eotech over the hurricane.
I love my eotech from Huang, and its less then half the price.
