Few Questions here
I may be in the wrong place, but please forgive me, I'm new to forums.
My mom agreed to buy a UTG M324 for me, since i'm not 18 yet. But question is : Where? I only found US only websites, so if someone knows, please say. Ah, and She also bought me a Walmart Colt MkIV Duty kit wich is clear, if i paint the guns black, (leaving the Orange tip) Would they be considered like ''Real'' Airsoft? (since i read the topic about Canadian Tire Guns) Again i have another Question, Is it illegal to play airsoft with Fully colored guns on a Private land (Ours ! And its Really Huge)? I mean, theres a part of it on the side of a public road, so if the police see us, will they arrest us? Sincerly, have a nice day everybody who will read this. P.S. Forgive my english, I'm from Québec |

see this is something that has always confused me. if i get pulled over for speeding on my way to an airsoft game. and the police happens to see the gun cases or inquire or anything, what is to stop him from taking my guns away and arresting me for possession of a prohibited device? i thought airsoft was legal to own because it wasn't considered a replica or a pellet gun, but just not 100% safe to import as most CBSA agents would just consider it a pellet gun. |

reasonable search and seizure laws. They stop you from speeding they can't demand to search your car for drugs unless you have bongs everywhere ie probably suspicion of commiting a crime. As long as you dont have a gun sitting in the back, or as long as you dont have a case shaped as a gun they can't seize it... it could be anyting a trombone etc. that and they can't make you pop the trunk

Still wouldn't recommend driving down the 401 with your 45 out the drivers side even if its empty

Thank you everyone who answered me, You are right , I'm not eighteen so I can't play it yet in some real events. But I love target shooting with the guns I currently have, so I wanted a Sniper Rifle
If my mom create a account and go verify her age, will she be able to buy guns for me? (they will belong to her, i will use them under her supervision) |

I don't know how old you are you sound like you're 12 or 14.
Attitude and maturity are a big part of this sport, not just shooting. Do yourself a favor and exercise some patience, it'll be more beneficial for you in more than just this game. Getting your mom to buy things for you is irresponsible for her and you. No matter what you or her say, kids are still kids. Seriously though. Wait till your 18 or play paint ball in the meantime and build up a good sense of sportsmanship teamwork and then switch over, thats what I did. You'll have more appreciation for the teamwork and tactics required for this sport after coming from the world of paint ball which is largely unorganized At any rate for the sake of advice, I wouldn't recommend getting a sniper rifle as your first airsoft gun. They're a bit temperamental and your style of play as a sniper/sharpshooter ist very diffrent from an assulter or rifleman. Alot of people reccommend getting something basic with alot of options as your first. an AEG like a Mp5 or your standard Armalite is probably the best newbie rifle. But do your home work and wait to get into this sport after you learn more about it. You can get through an entire game, not fire a shot and still win. There's a hell of a lot more to this game than guns and shooting.

I'm seconding what kalnaren said, I bought my Marzen L96A1 for $600 broken and spend somewhere in the area of $300 bringing it back from the dead and I just dumped another $150 in upgrades into it. You can ask people on the teams I play on too, I'm constantly fixing the thing too.

Sharpshooter, sorry for the confusion, but it is not against ASC policy for your mom to get Age Verified in order to purchase an airsoft gun, provided that it is understood (apparently, it is) that it belongs to her and your use of it must be strictly supervised by her. The local AV rep you contact will of course, have the final say as to whether your mother will be verified after meeting her.
We also insist that you do not have access to her ASC account password or post from her ASC account.
