So today i bought metal bushings and shims. I opened up my mech box and took everythign out. the trigger assembly came apart and the stupid spring is fucking me up. Can anyone write a detailed kraken mechbox upgrade. Do a youtube video or at least pictures because im lost!! gah.......
Mechbox.com doesnt show anything about the trigger and thats whats fucking me up. |

dunno how to explain that one. i have that problem too every time i open up a v3 gearbox, those three pieces of the trigger are a pain in the ass. its not too hard to figure out how it goes back together

You have to make sure the main trigger piece is fully seated in it's hole, it may seem like it is, but the box won't close around it. Just put it together, hold onto it with one hand while wiggling it around till it slides all the way into the hole, then put the actuator peiece into it's hole and close the box. Mechbox.com makes it look easier then it is.

the trick actually is trying to keep it all from completely popping out while youre working on things.
it can be pretty tough but ive managed it most of the time

on the other side of the shell, solder on the spring so it doesnt move on you. it was the only way i can get the damned thing together

V3 mechbox reassembly
The part about the trigger is about 4min into it. I found this on google in about 1.5 min...quite good actually...except for the bad porn movie soundtrack. |
