hmm... sucking distance..

Ok, i just got my maddbull tightbore 6.03.. and my gun is brutal for shooting distance. I looked around the forums breifly and didnt find what i wanted. I am lucky if i can hit 60 feet and i have to aim pretty high. I was using .25's and i just wasnt impressed with the difference of the barrel(it wasnt all that much more accurate than my stock one :S). I lubed the barrel and it did not do too much. Is it my mechbox or what? Little bit pi$sed off at whats going on. *note to self, never use a sniper scope on a stock AEG haha. What can i do to get the extra distance? Thanks

Let me get this right, your gun is stock except for a tightbore and your shooting 25s? 60 feet is about right since your probably only shooting at 250 fps.

Upgrade:
- spring to a M100/110
- plastic bushings to metal bushings
- plastic spring guide to metal unit

Shoot with the wind. 60 feet is about right for what you got.

k cool. I'll get a complete new upgraded gearbox. But as far as accuracy goes... how come its not much different than my stock barrel? Is it due to the stock gearbox?

You're getting a completely new gearbox when you could just spend $50 and upgrade some parts?

Maybe he has the budget for it and in the long run it can save some headaches if the original parts upgrades aren't shimmed properly (etc...).

And you've made sure the nub is in fine? Those can be pesky.

Thats the truth! I finally sent mine to a gun doc to get everything put back together! Of course at the same time he swapped out my hopup and hopup rubber

what kind of bb's are you using. After installing my tightbore (madbull 6.03) .25bb bastards were spraying everywhere. Switched to metal tech and it was a huge difference. just my 2 cents.
