I hear the KART M14 EBRs are picky about the mags they take.

M14 mags no matter who makes the gun are picky lol! It seems TM seems to be the only M14 that can take mags that aren't made by TM, although it seems that NONE of the M14 mags are compatible with different brands. IE TM mags done work in CA, etc.

If your getting the Kart be ready to put time and work into it to get it working at a level you are happy with, mine has been giving me ltos of little problems that im slowly fixing.

Basicly out of the box its fine, but to get it to do really well you need to mod it and give it some TLC

Looks badass though...

yea, that's what I expect from china gun too. Once I get it I will have to take everything apart and put together again just to make sure it is rigid and steady.

Does it takes all the parts from a Ver.7 ?

I also heard that the Hop-up unit is different from TM , is it right ?

I don't have one to say but I have read that it is fully "TM compatible" except for the hopup unit and inner barrel. Both can be swapped for the TM parts though. Last I checked www.ehobbyasia.com had TM M14 hopup units in stock.

The TM compatible was in quote marks as because its a China gun the tolerencing and such might be way off so parts may need some work with a dremel or needle file set to fit.

Hey guys just another question regarding the KART EBR, an opportunity to buy one has come up and I currently own a TM M14. I was just wondering if I am able to drop the EBR chasis from the KART onto my TM? Also a further question, would it be possible to put the TM Stock and such on the KART?? Ideally I would like to just part out the KART and take the chasis from it, and switch the TM stock and such back onto the KART and have both guns in shooting condition.

Thanks!

I know it has bin a while but on this subject, I have a kart M14 EBR and trying to upgrade the S**t out of it. As you guys say to get it how you like it, But im hearing load of different stuff about it, like what internal are combatible with the weapon.

1. Is it a copy of G&G or ECHO 1
2.What Gearbox wize fits Tm or G&G....etc upgrades
And anyone with the weapon what would you say to change or upgrade right away

Thanks

It's a somewhat accurate copy of the TM. Acceptability of aftermarket parts for TM may vary, it's hard to predict the tolerances of the Kart, especially since they tend to vary over time.

ECHO1 copied TM as well. Or rather, ECHO1 simply rebrands other Chinese clones.

I just got an ECHO1 EBR (which is a rebranded KART from what I have read) and yes you can drop a TM mechbox/upper/barrel assembly straight into the chassis. The only issue might be the wiring since the EBR requires the wiring to go forward and the standard M14 requires it to go back. M14's are externally wired regardless so you wont have to open the mechbox but you might need to make an adapter to lengthen the wires off the mechbox enough to bring them forward.

So a Guarder SP120 Full Tune-Up Kit for TM M14 would fit in the Kart EBR

F**kin Yes
mine shoots at 400 fps out of the box so i want to upgrade it to be more relible and not more power full so i will lower the spring to a SP110/SP100.

as my old AGM M14 Kept jamin with in the gearbox and had to use a 10.8V when the 8.4 with it stoped working and any other 8.4 i put in. and redone all the wireing to hold the new battery better. ( Insulation started to melt :banghead
Has anyone else had the same problem?

I was hoping to put the Kart m14 in the stock of a AGM or buy a TM stock

So i can go thought the year i can get away with a m14 at a ww2 game and a vietnam (duh) and a morden one with the EBR

Thanks

have you had the gearbox fully apart ? was it cleaned and regreased and reshimmed . was the motor checked correctly . thats were i start about your jamming problems first. what bb's were you using when you did your chrono test ? was it a high cap mag used or low cap? 400fps seems high to me for a clone m14 . i have always used 8.4 or 9.6 in my m14 with no troubles
