Different Krylon paints???
Just saw these krylon paints at Canadian Tire; i'm wondering has anyone tried this stuff on their guns. There's Krylon Camouflage Paint with Fusion Technology (http://www.krylon.com/products/camou...n_technology/), Make it Stone! Textured paint (http://www.krylon.com/products/camou...on_technology/) and Fusion for Plastic Hammered Finish(http://www.krylon.com/products/fusio...mmered_finish/).
Especially the textured stuff, cause i want that roughish texture to gun. Last edited by SilentBullet; June 28th, 2008 at 05:50.. |

Sure have, Krylon works great. Their product has really proven itself worthy.
I've used their fusion products on can dashes even, and have been very impressed with its finish. It binds to very many different surfaces, just as long as their clean. HINT* your first link doens't work because the bracket has made itself part of the link. |

The new krylon camo works great, used it to paint my bar-10 and no real differences compared to the old stuff.

The only comments I would add (being a professional artist, and I've painted a lot of stuff)
The colors of the Krylon camo line aren't perfect matches to woodland, etc. The green is a decent OD green the Brown is a bit too "warm" and leather looking brown, it should have been a tad more grey / desaturated The Tan is a bit bright The black is just normal matt black They're decent if you want something "close" but if you're picky, they aren;t perfect. I would suggest a matte clear finish if you want that really non reflective look. Just my 2 cents. |
