g36 hop up
hey im building my sl-8's still and im having a firing/feeding problem with the ones barrel. the tappet i think it is that pushes the bb inth the barrel and the air comes through it, it took the end of the hop up rubber off. it wouldnt shoot bbs itd just fart out 3 or 4 at once before and after the rubber broke. now its the BE hop up system that came with the gun, its plastic. if i just buy a new hop up rubber should that solve the problem and let the gun fire normally?

Sounds like your hop up unit isn't properly assembled, very easy with that design.

yea it looks pretty simple but ive never put one together and im afraid that i wont do it right.
also i dont want to but the entire ca g36 hop up unit cuz the only one i can find is sold by that warthers originals jerk. i wouldnt think ca's would be all metal. i basically have all the hop up parts that should work fine, its just the rubbers that come with those are terrible i just want to know if i have to buy the entire hop up system or if i can just buy a hop rubber and be fine. and if i can just get a new rubber for it to work then which kind i should buy

you can get a Star, TM or even the Prowin one if you like.
No need to grab a CA. As for assembly, you can't go wrong. Worst case, the ramp will be facing the inside top of your gun... and that should be preaty obvious. |

Hopup rubbers are mostly non-gun-specific.

Doesn't really matter which one you get. Some might have better performance than others. But in a BE? Go for whatever.
