MP7 Mechbox Screws Loosening

I've recently picked up an MP7 (used), and went to fire it but it made gear grinding noises. Now I figured it was a piston tooth problem, so I proceeded to dismantle it down to the mechbox. Before opening the mechbox I noticed that the screws were loose. Has anyone heard of this happening with use of a mechbox, either on the MP7 or other weapon? Should I put the green loctite on it? Leave it and hope it doesn't do it again? As a truck mechanic, my first thought is 'Give er, More torque = more hold...' but on something as fragile as this I don't think it's the best idea to over torque the screws...
