Jing Gong Mp5n Trouble
I have some problems with an Jg mp5. When I pull the trigger with a fully charged battery, the gun fires for a couple of seconds and then there is some time before I pull the trigger and the gun fires. After a couple of seconds Nothing. Like if the battery was dead.
I recently opened the gun to test both motor and mechbox. Motor turns perfectly and the mechbox seams to work perfectly... Then when I reassemble the gun and try it, the same problem comes back. Could it be an electrical problem but inside the mechbox...?? Some help would be NICE Warrior

When the gun stops firing, is the piston in the 'fully cocked' position as in ready to fire? I'm having a similar issue with one of the black JG mechboxes I bought from Huang. I put it in the gun, and it worked great for the first few shots in semi (which returns the piston to its full uncocked position). After firing a few bursts in full auto, it stopped shooting and the fuse blew. Upon disassembling my gun, I found the piston locked fully back. I've had this happen several times to the gun now.
I swapped the stock spring with a Prometheus MS110SP spring, and not having that issue anymore. Having other semi / full auto issues, but that's another story.

my guess is that it is caused by something wrong with your selector plate, look at that, see if theres any abnormal ware

Also if you have a bearing spring guide and a bearing on the piston, that might cause it as well..Had it happen to my M4..If this it the case, take the bearing off the piston..

Is it the one that when down at the last AC game?
If so, my feeling is that it is clearly a electrical issue. When we pressed the trigger, there was a delay before the shot was fired. Could be a bad connection somewhere (wiring or selector plate). Bong

Did you have a chance to chrony the gun? You might have one of those clones that shoot way over 400fps.

Well, I think that where the problem is. Your battery might be too weak( low mAh) to power the motor. What kind of battery are you using?

oh wow, 420 fps stock, youll need a 9.6v for that, or high torque gears.

Negative for the battery, mine was chronoed at 416 fps and works pretty well with the stock battery. (m100 spring on his way soon) For the bearing thing, can you clarify this a little, my knowledge is limited on mechbox and spring things

The stock battery was use, we also try multiples battery (including 9.6 v battery) to bring it back alive. Same problem.
I use the same stock JG battery (with different configuration for cran stock, but same V and AMP) in the JG HK416 (running at 420 fps) and had no issue.

Bearing spring guide = stock JG don t come with bearing spring guide, don t worry about that scenario

If it's a used gun that you've gotten, don't discount that it may be as simple as a bad motor. There's plenty of times that I've troubleshot a gun only to find that swapping the motor fixed everything in the end.
A weak motor will appear to run fine without any load but will drain batteries quickly and fail to pull springs under load. If you can, try a "known-good" motor. |

Gonna check the fuse, could be as simple as that
