TM Hi-Capa shooting full auto
I got my hi-capa 4.3 brand new, and only fired about 200 to 300 rounds through it, and all of the sudden it starts shooting full auto, I take it apart and nothing seems to be worn out or anything. Any ideas as to what the problem may be?
I have a metal slide and barrel on the way, as well as guide rod, hammer spring and recoil spring. Thanks, Dustin |

Brand new is kinda strange to be doing this. It could be the leaf-spring is bent(forgot which pronge though). If it was an older gun there can also be issue with sear/hammer wear, like my 5.1 was.

Does it stop firing full auto when you let go of the trigger? Or does it just continue a burst till the mag is dry?

It's actually pretty scary when it happened on mine, you just go "bang, bang", and then the next squeeze you get a "bapbapbapbapbapbapbap"....
totally unexpected and BBs flying everywhere.... |

Leaf spring.
My friend's Hi-Capa did the same this week. I opened it and replaced all in the right spot... After that he told me he opened it and was not sure how to rebuild it. It was the leaf spring. The middle one was bent too much. it should have around 8-10 deg. |
