MP5J selector switch problem

hey everyone

the problem is the selector switch wont stay attached together. nothing seems to be broken, the switch attaches loosely to the rod from the primary switch, and it falls off. i researched and found this:

i was wondering if this problem can be fixed or if i need to buy a new selector switch, thanks
