DBoy Mechbox Won't Cycle
Hi all,
This is my first post and I just wanna say hi to everyone here. Anyways, a few days back, on a whim, I acquired a Dboy M4 CASV. Went home opened it up and charged and connected everything, here's the problem...squeezed the trigger and it fired once, before stopping. The motor in the handle still runs and when I pull the trigger, I get a click sound. I removed the upper receiver and noticed that the spring has been compressed, and the exposed area is a black piece of plastic that's infront of the spring [piston?]. Can anyone explain what the problem is, and help me remedy it? Many grateful thanks. Stay safe, Tim. Last edited by Halo_Predator; December 3rd, 2007 at 05:38.. Reason: typo |

Your not running enough power through the gun to cycle the spring, or theres too much resistance. Sometimes a near-dead battery can cause a gun to jam as well. You may need torque up gears, smaller spring, or a torque up motor.

TC,
Battery was fully charged and the problem still prevailed. I'm stripping it down to check the internals as per a smith here via PM. Thanks though for the heads up, appreciate it. Stay safe, Tim.
