what size are the motor spade connectors?

I took the measurements last night but I forgot the post-it note at home. If someone can post or PM me the specs hopefully I can pick up what I need on the way home and not have to go out in rush hour.

I need to replace the spade connectors on my motor wires. It's for a TM M4 motor (EC1000). The slide-on connectors at the end of the mechbox wires that connect to the motor tabs are pretty beat up (one broke and I hacked one on from another mechbox). I'd like to solder on new ones.

Can anyone post up the measurements of the motor tabs (i.e. width/height) and/or the measurements of the stock connectors?

Also, any general thoughts on what gauge and type of wire to use for a 9.6v battery pushing a stock EC1000 motor? I've been using general stranded copper hobby wire (can't remember what gauge). Not the most flexible stuff, but it's been working fine.

Lastly, just for general knowledge, do all motors have the same tab specs? Guessing so...but haven't played around with them enough to know for sure.

Thanks very much in advance!

The motor tabs are .110, just ask for "110 clips" at whatever electronics store you're getting them from. They're very common.

Buy the smallest red ones at Canadian Tire (automotive), crimp them on your wires, cut the red plastic insualtion off (it's bulky and doesn't work well under the motor plate) and shrink some heat shrink over the connectors, then bend 90deg. You can use a small touch of solder on the tip of the wire in the connector to hold it better, but don't go too heavy when soldering, you'll make it fragile. Also a good idea to give the contact a bit of a squeeze with pliers to make sure it's snug on the motor tab.

That's perfect! Thank you both. Found out about about making it brittle the hard way last night.
