Had the same problem on one that I fixed, there is a small spring that you may have inserted wrong.
Here is a link showing everything and here is a photo of the spring and it's position. Make sure to take your time and look at how it's installed, it took me 2 weeks to figure it out an it only hit me a 11:30 at night when I took alot of time and checked everything slowly piece by piece. http://www.wargameclub.com/g18c-slide-install.html http://www.pbase.com/jakster/image/81007042 Good luck Jakster |

Not that this will prob help ya at all but that happened to me and I just took it fully appart twice and on the second try I seemed to do something different and now it works. If ur using propane I would suggest to lock tight the screw holding the full rear assembly in the slide in cause I've had it loosen off on me. If ya end up figuring it out post it up cuase I'd love to know what it is that did it to ya and maybe it was the same thing for me.

Could be hammer issues? My G19 I just got in an as is deal, shoots full auto
But since u say it works with the stock slide, could be a compatibility issue and needs some modifications somewhere.
