cylinder question

i read somewhere that an mp5k's cylinder may use a barrel length ranging from 110mm to 170mm while MP5-A4,A5,SD5,SD6's cylinders may use a range between 229mm to 430mm

what about the barrel length which has a length in between those measurements mentioned above (171m to 228mm)? what cylinder type would one use?

the reason i'm asking this is because i plan on installing a tight bore barrel longer than my mp5k pdw's stock barrel (141mm) and would prefer to retain my stock cylinder and maximize its use IF POSSIBLE.

thanks!

When in doubt, go larger. It will be a little harder on the mechbox, but since the MP5K is a V3, and assuming you aren't going to be pushing 400 fps, the extra wear and tear would be minimal if any.

I use a AUG std barrel ( minus 4cm) with a AUG unported stock cylinder on my mp5k.
-it is not a tightbore
-I haven't noticed any barrel suck.
