TM SIG P226 hogue grip problems
Hi people.
Okay so i read here that a couple of people have successfuly fitted hogue grips to their TM P226. Thats pretty much theo nly mod i want to make to my gun, so i figured i'd go ahead. Today the grips arrived and i took off the originals now i knew there would be fitting issues, and looking at it, i think i'm capable of overcomming those problems. it'll take some cutting, but it should all work out fine. My actual problem is when i decided to temporarily put the old grips back on, i squeezed the trigger, and the hammer is now all weak and wobbly. Its like its not fitted anymore. Now i've never taken one of these apart before and i think if i start taking apart the innards of this thing, i'll be opening a can of worms. Plus, there is only one pin near the hammer, and it appears to be in place (although it does stick out a fair bit...) If anybody knows whats going on i'd appreciate it, because otherwise, this thing is pretty much broken. thanks |

Make sure the hammer spring is on the correct way - narrow end of the spring should be pointing up when inserted into the block.
