help! src m4 pistol grip dilema.

does anyone know how to remove the pistol grip on an src m4? having a devil of a time with it. my intuition tells me it snaps into place but after breaking one of the tabs on the upper receiver Im a little sketchy on trying to force it.

trixta, is your M4 super stiff when you separate the upper and lower receivers? I gotta pull mine like a bastard to get it off.
