Folding stock for CA SLR 105
The stock that comes with it has been kind of bothering me lately, so I am contemplating replacing it with a new one. I'd like to put a folding stock on it so it's easier to use in CQB. I know it's rather difficult to find a solution on the market so I was thinking it wouldn't be too hard for me to fashion my own, since I have the tools to do so. So what I was wondering, is it possible to place the battery inside the foregrip area? I don't see any wires, so could I reposition the wires there?
Thanks. |

You can rewire it to the front. Also, before doing anything, check the foregrip/gas tube area just to make sure that battery will actually fit. I know that CA SLR Para (AKS74U) needs to be modified in order to fit a battery in the foregrip. For some reason 2 screws that are used to hold outer barrel are sticking out and blocking battery space.

What battery would you recommend? i'll have to get a new one anyway since my current one is a large type. I also have a different foregrip than it's stock version, I have the KA rail system, which seems to be about the same size.

I think largest AK 8.4V stick battery is something around 1700Mah, get that one if it will fit your gun.
