Need Help Deciding Upgrade Parts for C8

ok, im using an upgraded SRC M4 atm,

I wanna make a C8/SAW,

This is what i have right now
TM Tracer Unit/Silencer
Elcan sight
SRC RIS Unit
Upgraded SRC RIS M4
Harris Bipod with CA RIS adaptor
G&P Scorpion RIS Taclite

This is what im trying to get still
Guarder C8 Metal Body
249 Box Mag or the dual drums (Electric feed)
Better Handgrip (I wanna replace the stock one with like a softer rubbery kind of grip)
Green Laser (Eventually)
maybe an m16 inner tightbore barrel, hiding the extra length inside my silencer (im wondering if its long enough to interfere with the Tracer unit)

This is my situation right now
I want to make this a rugged C8 varient, i want to be able to pop off the drum or box mag and use regular mags to CQB and assault with, but i also want it to be able to be a rugged lmg. The Gun is an SRC atm, so i need to replace the gearbox, handles and i would like to replace the internals while im at it cause the gearbox + handgrip doesnt align with Guarder Metal Kits, or pretty much any other m4 body.

Im looking to find what the best parts i can get that isnt outragiously expensive. The following List is what im thinking about getting for my rifle, if you have any opinions or suggestions for better parts, it would be much appreciated. My Aim is to make the rifle sound as much like a real rifle firing without hearing the electric whine as much as possible. Im aiming for 350 -380 fps, higher rof, accuracy, distance etc etc. Oh and another thing, it has to be able to last internally and externally. The gearbox shouldnt burn itself out quickly and if i slide into a foxhole.

Blue is Pretty much decided
Green is current choice
Red is not decided

Bipod - King Arms Bipod

Why don't you simply get a Harris Bipod?
I'm certain you KA will be more expensive (landed cost) and won't be as rugged as a Harris. Harris being designed for real steel is more rugged by definition.

Just my 2 cents...

I was thinking about that, but i figured since the harris ones need the RIS adaptor which is 30 bucks on its own, i figured the king arms one would be better because it has the RIS attachment built in and it looks less cluttered. But im not exactly sure yet

I have adaptors for my SPRs and it's not bulky at all. On top of that, they won't fall apart.

I LOVE my C8 metal body, if your getting the guarder one (same as me) it comes with an upgraded hopup so you can scratch that off your list if you had it.
I got a prowin about half way installed in mine, ive just been waiting for my guntech to get the really good gear greese first.
I didnt like the slitherstock of the C8s so i went with the SOPMOD stock to give it a different look.

I like the versa pod more. less bulky and less likely to snag up in the bushes.

Here's the dilemma, a silent piston head will be healthier for your gearbox, but an aluminum piston head will give you a better rifle sound. Since you're using a reinforced mechbox, you might be able to get away with an aluminum piston head if you go for a relatively mild spring, say Prometheus MS100. I don't know if I'd do it, but I've never used a v2, only read about them.

Yea ive heard Jar-Head saying that for LMG, i should gofor a metal piston head instead of the plasic Silent head.
But he also said that i should get a heavier spring and a heavier motor with reinforced internals. Not sure what i want for internals atm
