KSC USP mag leak

alright, im going to have to break down and ask for help again. both my mags (supplied and aftermarket) on my usp now leak. its not that big a deal as it is only the square oring around the fill chamber block. i HAVE tried removeing and soaking in silicone oil for several hours and that didnt remedy the problem. this only came to be when i started running coleman propane. never had teh problem on green gas, but now that it leaks, it doesnt matter whats in there: so im asking for one of two things;

a) any ideas on how to stop the leak as is (OR)

b) with what and how can i seal this block so it will not leak again (and if i do so, will it cause me any stress down the road if valves start leaking)

origionally i was just going to get some liquid gasket (that sealant paste stuff) spread a generous amount around the block and insert, but i thought before i do ill ask if its a good idea, or if theres a better idea.

replace the standard o-ring with a much fatter one (you should have a hard time even getting it on there), and use alot more silicone oil with your propane.

I just got some clear non harding gasket maker from Can Tire. Put a lite coating on the oring and mag. Works great now.

k well i removed the gasket, then i wrapped teflon tape around the seat of the seal, placed the gasket on over the teflon tape, then wrapped teflon tape around the gasket. so essentially i sandwiched the gasket between teflon tape. inserted the block into the mag, gased it up and voila, problem solved. quick and easy.

Glad you got that fixed. I simply replaced my o-ring and put cermaic greese on the oring and it works perfectly. However I havent fired mine in ages. All my GGB's are collecting dust... (ran out of propainnnnnnnn!)

ohp, i lied, the thread tape didnt fix the problem, but it did do two things!!
1) made me think i soleved the leak by sealing it well enough i didnt notice untill i needed my gun (gased it up and let it sit for two days, figured it was all good, ddnt check it , went to pull the trigger...)
2) made it fucking rediculous hard to get the chamber block out, so DONT DO THE THREAD TAPE THING

what i did do, was removed the tape, placed a thin oring UNDERNEATH the supplied gasket spread a liberal amount of lubricone on the gasket and inserted. THAT solved the leak the extra oring made a tighter seal around the base and around the chamber lip.
