M4 SD SMG (Correct name?)
For those of you who would like to mod your TM M4A1 to an M4A1 SD (I believe the kit I got is called SD, correct me if I'm wrong please), I thought I'd just let you know that instead of buy a kit from G&P or other companies, try looking at the kit from Classic Army. It's half the price, quality is great, and fits on perfectly enough.
As installing an SD frontside will not allow you to put your batteries in the foregrip anymore, you should also look at the large triangular stock (not sure what it's called). I also got this from Classic Army for pretty much half price. I'm not sure what the prices are for you guys in Canada, but in Hong Kong, I saved more than 50% going with the Classic Army sets. To break it down: *All in HKD G&P Short SD Kit: $1500 Triangular Stock: ~$350 Rail for Triangular Stock w/ wire passage: ~$300 TOTAL: ~$2150 HKD Classic Army Short SD Kit: $680 Classic Army Triangular Stock w/ Rail set: $352 TOTAL: $1032 CA SD Kit includes the outer barrel and fore hand grip incase you were wondering. CA Stock kit includes everything, including a power wire extension for those of you who don't want to do any electrical work yourself. I'm gonna keep my SD type batteries and throw in one more from the stock 8.4V to up it to 9.6V which fits in the stock, or I'll go lithium later. With the stock I plenty of space for whatever. If anyone needs a guide to the installation, pm me and I'll add it to this post, but the installation was pretty simple. Only problems was pulling open the mechbox to have the power wires come out the back of the mechbox instead, and for some reason the free floating RIS infront needed tightening up a few times before I finally settled firmly onto the body. Maybe there's a slight thread mismatch, but I don't feel it's anything serious. One other thing to note, your stock barrel is too long. You'll have to cut it or get a new one. I don't know the length. CA rates it at 111mm, but that's wrong because it does not include the length of barrel inside the silencer, only to the outer barrel they supply in the kit. Hope this was some help to those of you interested in mod'ing to M4A1 SD and to those of you wondering if Classic Army parts fit Marui guns.

Nice gun! But I'm personally not a huge fan of the M4-SD.
It's has a M4SD front and a crane stock (not triangle stock :P). |

Not sure if I'm a fan of that reflex sight though. I'd personally opt for the Aimpoint with L-mount.
