Krylon on a pistol?

I want to repaint my glock 19,because its all scratched and screwed up. I was wondering if the krylon paint used to paint an aeg is also acceptable to be used on a fmu pistol? Should i have to sand off the orginal paint or keep it on? Thanks!

if it were me i would just rough up the origional paint with a scotchbright pad. Just to make a good surface for the new paint to stick to.

And if Krylon works on an AEG why wont it work on a pistol?
Just make sure you dont get paint where there are any moving parts.

Works fine for mine.

I used sandpaper to sand off the paint first, then primer, and then krylon OD + transparent flat matte clear protection (Avoids the paint being scratched off easily).
If you only put Krylon OD, it will scratch off easily, or just stick with Krylon Flat Matte Black.
