Can other motor be used in a ICS M4?
I have heard that the ICS pinion gear is a little bigger then the standard and other brands will not last long. Has anyone had experience using another motor/pinion gear in a ICS M4? Any thoughts would be great.

I used a TM EG1000 for two years without any problems.

Did you use the TM pinion? Do you like the performance of the EG1000 in the ICS?

thats a pretty standard mod for ics'ers. everybody ive talked to (even a retailer) reccomends to do it. no body has ever mentioned anything about a pinion meshing problem.
