is it that simple, or will you run into problems in the end? im using a J type battery at 9.6v, and i want more power, eventually more range, but ill just convert to a ps90 barrel. is it as easy as installing a new spring (120-140) and some bushings?

Yes, yes it is. Only caveat is that you need V6-specific bushings. I ran a PDI150% with Guarder bushings and a J-batt, it was perfect. Things started going wrong when I replaced more stuff with Systema/Guarder etc.

Bushings and springs are the most basic upgrades. Obviously an upgraded gun will increase wear and tear, so over time, you'll need to replace other parts.

Not likely on a P90 unless you're pushing 400FPS.

Check out ILLusion's spring chart, the numbers will be very close to what you'll get... in fact, yours might be a bit higher with everything else stock. The only other part you might need to replace is the spring guide, and that's only when you're close to 400FPS.

so, i understand what i need to cut, but i know it wont fit around the wires. I see i need to do something around the fusebox. Ive never opened a AEG before, so whats the easiest way to do this without having to do to much?
