Anyone have experience with PDI 6.01 or 6.05 tight bore?
These tightbores are suppose to have the highest tolerances in manufacturing, so even the 6.05 should be on par or better than prometheus.
What i'd like to know is if anyone has used one before and if the higher tolerances help make it more accurate than other barrels. thanks in advance |

In my mind a 6.05mm is too big, and a 6.01mm is too small. But I know several people who use them, and like them alot. In fact one guy I know owns both the 6.05 and the 6.01, and he says he gets tighter groupings with the 6.05. But I dont think the cost of these premium barrels is justified.

i've got a 6.05 in my m14 and have noticed a significant improvement in my groupings over the stock barrel.

so its either the 6.05 pdi or a prometheus that i'm narrowed down to. Which would give better accuracy over long range? One has a tighter bore, but the other has been machined to be much straighter and consistant through out the barrel. The 2 barrel lengths I would be looking to get are a PDI 6.05 430mm or a prometheus 6.03 550mm. I'm comparing these two because they are similar in price |

Ive got an ARMS magazine article where they test the TK hop barrel, the PDI 05, the KM 6.04 and the Nineball 6.03 in a hi capa
the 05 gets higher fps than the 03 for some reason; and much better accuracy at range 05 has .004mm tolerances and 01 has .001mm if I remember right anyway, Im testing out the 01 in my hi capa at the moment and I like it so far |
