TM & Wei-Tech Hicapa 5.1 Part Compatibilty

So far I have noticed there are alot of upgrade parts for the TM Hicapa 5.1.
So the question I am asking is what parts are compatible with the WE Hicapa 5.1 Dragons.
More importantly the Tightbore since the WE Dragons do suffer from an accuracy issue.
And if anyone has attempted or has installed TM parts on a WE Gun?

WE's accuracy issue stems largely from a lot of space between the slide and the outer barrel. Reduce that and your grouping will tighten dramatically, you can decide whether you want to go the extra distance with a tight bore then. Good news with the Dragon is that the padding is simplified by the split-slide design.

I have a WE Dragon v1, and had attempted some basic upgrades from Guarder products meant for TM 5.1's. Installed the stronger recoil/hammer springs and TM hi-flow valves for mags. Everything worked for a short period of time and then went pear-shaped. The springs that the gun came with were already made for the metal slide and extra kick from propane so I took them out and popped in the stock ones and the gun stopped jamming and misfiring immediately. The Hiflow valves crapped out after a few uses, not sure why but the gas would just pass straight threw them. Once again I put back the stock WE valves and was fine. If you need more flow from your mags, you can dremmel out bigger holes in the valves. Stay away from the WE CO2 mags as they seem badly designed. Between a friend an I, we've lost 3 of them to something breaking inside from the pressure. Initially the mags worked for a month and then after storing with some gas they were unable to fire due to enormous pressure on the valve, so I'm guessing there's a flow restrictor inside that broke. My buddy got a 2nd one recently and it broke even without stored gas.

Long story short, for the price you get a hard hitting gun that you shouldn't mess with too much cause the TM upgrades are really for a plastic based gun.

PS: I agree with the barrel wobble, could be tighter but most of my metal guns are like that for some reason. Plastic parts always seem to fit tighter. Maybe I'll put a little rubber under the front slide piece to increase accuracy while moving.

weird, the guarder internals I have done to one of my 2 WE Dragoons has worked fine, and I run nothing but Propane....

Now I do not use highflow valves at all, dont see a need for them.

The Main question I would like to know is if there are any Tightbores available or
compatible with the WE 5.1? Now the barrel wobble problem if someone has figured
a way to correct that, it would be great for some information on that!

Stick a little paper (or tape) between the underside of the outer barrel and front slide (non-moving) section. Additionally, you could also wrap some tape around the inner barrel so it seats more securely (and centered) inside the outer barrel.
