Questions about 1-piece hopup

I bought a used Guarder metal body (with no instructions) and it came of course with the one-piece hop-up. When I removed the hopup (the hopup was still on a barrel) there was a small brass ring somewhere between it and the barrel. When I'm reassembling it, where does this piece go?

Also, how am I intended to attach the small round metal plugs that fill some of the mock pin holes in the body? Do I just use super glue? loctite?

Sorry if these are dumb questions - after 5 years of Armalites, it's my first ever metal body, lol.

Tap the metal plugs in with the butt end of a plastic screwdriver. Apply superglue to the inside of the body to avoid getting visible glue haze on the outside. It may even help to apply a blob of grease to the outside so it keeps the glue from seeping to the outside and hazing the exterior or leaving drip marks.

If you are using KM RHx5 hop rubber and bucking kits, you should not need the brass ring as KM gives you a bigger and more substantive barrel stabilizer thingie.

The metal plugs can be super-glued.

Contact Manchovie if you have any problems. He's teh Guarder expert.
Either before or after the C-shaped piece as in it doesn't matter or as in you don't remember/know for this particular brand of one-piece hopup?

Thanks for the replies guys, I really appreciate the help and the suggestions. I really wouldn't want to get glue haze on my nice new metal body...

Anyone else have any tips for a first time metal bodier?
