what cylinder do i need for a AK-47 titebore??

which cylinder works best with the ak47 titebore? i have a prometheus AK-47 titebore. this cylinder is going on a TM m733.
i was recommended the type-0 cylinder (m16 and the aug) what type comes stock with ak47 guns anyways? right now i have a m4 cylinder in my m733. i think the cylinder that came with my m733 is a type -0 ...i may still have that layin around. can anyone verify also for me if my TM m733 came stock with a type-0 cylinder. ive been lookin all over the places and I cant find out the answer. the only thing I found was that the type-0 has no holes in the cylinder and my stock m733 had no holes also.
if anybody knows the answer, please reply back
thank you very much.

AKs come with non-ported cylinder. That should be good enough for a regular length AK barrel.

In my case FPS dropped a lot when ported cylinder was installed in AK47 by mistake.

quick question...i have a stock tokyo marui type-0 (non ported) cylinder and was wonderin if i should buy the area 1000 teflon type-0 cylinder. do you think i should spend the $15 or is it not worth it...will there be any difference if i used my stock one vs the systema 1000? cus if there will be no difference or only a slight diff. i would rather save the $15. oh one more thing, what will the area 1000 cylinder head do if i purchased one of those too? any suggestions will help. thanks everybody!

Actually, if you're going to get an aftermarket cylinder, get the Type-1 Cylinder. It's AK-47 specific and has a tiny port cut into it.

Stock Tokyo Marui cylinders have no intermediate cylinder between the full cylinder and the next ported cylinder used on M4, P90, G36C, etc. It helps them reduce their production costs.

im actually not gonna purchase an aftermarket cylinder anymore. think im just gonna use my stock tm type 0...i just fo0und out that i needa buy a piston and a spring guide cus my mechbox is in great danger cus of the setup i have in my gun.

heres what ive done. guarder sp120 spring, guarder steel dual oil chambers bushings, promethues AK 47 titebore, systema duracon piston w/bearings.

that person recomended me the guarder poly full tooth piston and a spring guide with bearings.
u guys think i should stick with systema brand piston since i have a systema pistonhead? or will the guarder work fine?

I think your not ready for upgrading at all.

Just what "danger" is your mechbox in? Do elaborate on this if you may.

the guarder one will work fine, and like BC_K, I don't see what the "great danger" is of your setup to your v3 gearbox.

actually, someone from a diff. forum told me that my mechbox was in danger...heres exactly what he said to me.
"Wow, your setup is in real danger of failiure. To push an SP120 you need at least: Polycarbonate Piston, Metal bushings (you already have), Polycarbonate piston head w/ bearings (you already have), spring guide w/ bearings, steel gears.
People tend to forget this a lot. Your piston is a gear too. Its a standard horizontal rack gear. If all your gears are steel, and your piston is a stock TM plastic nylon piston, what will happen? It will strip quickly resulting in complete piston/gearbox failiure, and you will have a downed gun until you can replace it. You MUST get a piston upgrade AT LEAST, no questions asked. The spring guide should be OK, just a bearing spring guide will be easier on your gearbox as it will cushion the impact

That person is a fucking moron.

My MP5K pushed an SP120 no problem at all. Metal bushings, spring guide & spring was all I changed in it, worked perfectly fine.

Do tell that person, they are an unknowledge doorknob.

Well the gearbox shell itself isn't in great danger. I thought that's what the warning was about. The Marui piston itself can last for a bit, but I can't see it lasting much beyond 10,000 rounds with that spring.

lol..thats sum funny stuff. ok ..you guys made me feel alot safer now. but like illusion said....the person from the forum did say that it will last about 10,000 shots before it dies..but i just didnt copyandpaste that part
hmm...10,000 shots really aint all that much. if this is true...i might as well upgrade them now right? just so i dont have to pay for installation fees again.

exactly.

that person exagerrated a bit when they said your gearbox was in "great danger". Not like it would catastrophically explode. At most, your piston would die, you'd shell out some more $$ to have your gearbox opened again just to have the piston reinstalled.
