Maruzen CA870 upgrade questions
I'm about to order an Angs M140 spring for the gun, and was wondering if i needed the SS bearing spring guide for it. I've read from some sources saying that you need it, yet others say the exact opposite.

Do you need it? No. Is it a good idea? Yes. When the spring compresses it wants to rotate a little bit. Without the ball bearings the possibilty exists for the spring to bind a little when the trigger is pulled. I honestly can't say if it would reduce FPS without the ball bearings but since you would be changinging the spring it's only 1 screw and about 30 seconds extra work to put the upgraded spring guide in. The original guide is plastic.
