Nineball high flow valves
I just bought a set of Nineball high flows for my Marui P226. How so I get them inside of the mag? They dont fit threw the valve hole. They just sit at the bottem of the valve hole
*Post update* Ok I said screw the balls for now and just put the valve in and when I pull the trigger, all the gas comes out in one show, the slide doesnt come back. Its like not enough gas it getting into the chamber. Is it possable to put a valve in wrong? Is the window thats cut into the valve suppose to go a certain direction? |

The window should face up and out of the exhaust port.
That shouldn't be the cause of your problem though, did you modify anything else? When you pull the trigger and the gas comes out at once, is it one violent release of all the gas or does it slowly eject all of the gas till the mag is empty? If it's the former, then you have some problem with your blowback assembly, could be something out of place or broken. If it's the latter, then your hammer spring isn't strong enough to crack open the valve. You'll need to upgrade your hammer spring. |

Well the windows a half moon cut into the side so it's only got one side to point out of.
Let give you a list of things done and what I did. First of all, the guns got a full metal body kit by Action. Thing was kind of a pain in the ass to install but after sanding and fileing it fell right together nicely. The springs, valve and everything else were bone stock. The gun fires pretty damn good though. Nice sharp kick but the slide seems a tad sponge when you rack the slide. Nothing I can't deal with but I still ordered other parts. I ordered a set of Gaurder enhanced spring set and some Nine Ball high flow valves. I installed the slide spring and hammer spring then put the high flow into the mag. I did notice that these springs are SO heavy the slide moves back when racking it really hard now. The hammer is so heavy now too I'd think the gun wouldnt have enough power to move the slide. I filled the mag with gas, put it into the gun pulled the trigger the hammer dropped and all the gas shot out every where and the slide didn't move at all. Like the valve wasn't point the right way to let the gas flow up to power the gun. How do you point valve? I mean it ends up where it ends up. *Post update* I used a tooth pick to hold the valve in place so the opening was straight up and now the guns cycles correctly. I'm getting alot of gas loss though. When I fire the gun I see a poof of white propane right out of the top of the gun too. It's like the inturnels are not holding all the gas the high flow, flows. Can I turn the valve to cut off some propane flow? I mean is that how its designed? Holy crap this thing kicks like a son of a b**ch... So what do I do with these 3 balls? The tech rep from Airsoft Extreme told me they are just something Nine Ball packages in and they are not used for anything but I know thats crap. I know they go somewhere in the mag. |

The three balls u are better off throwing them away. For your valve, just screw it right in to the port tight, make sure the o ring is attached.
My friend told me actually DIY your own valve is more cvost effective and better than getting a nineball, as the nineball hi flow valves are also not that hi flow. But ill still stick to nineball all the same (love the red colour). |

Well here is the problem I'm having now. Most of the time the gun does not fire AT ALL.
Click... Click... So I pulled the slide off with the mag in the gun and no gas in the mag to make sure the hammer was pushing the striker into the high flow valve. Well the Nine Ball valve is somewhat pointed and the striker keeps flying forward and slides in above the valve if you know what I mean... This would be a side view: Basiclly the red things the valve, the pointy thing in the backs the striker part of the valve and the black things the striker the hammer hits. Instead of hitting the valve smack on the middle where it should 90% of the time it hits and lodges above the valve doing jack shit, not causing the gun to fire. I have to tinker around with it to make it hit the middle of the striker. The guns striker seems to be spring loaded and can move up or down so its moving up and landing above the valve. Everythings line up before firing though. It's like the back of the valves too pointy to use in this gun and doesnt have enough striking area. |
