Angled Foregrip w/ Battery Storage

Building a KAC PDW at the moment using a couple of graveyard guns. Wasn't a fan of having a PEQ box hanging off the side or trying to stuff a battery internally in the handguard. Came across this design a fellow posted.

Have no 3d printer so used the ordering option and treatstock. Had a Quebec company print it for me, even sent a link to a live stream while the print was running so I could watch it. That was kinda cool.

With taxes and shipping the part came out to around $45 included a 5 dollar tip to the designer, granted pricey, but it does fit a specific requirement so I don't much mind.

Its in Canada Post's hands now, looking forward to seeing it first hand. Will post a picture when it shows up.

Waiting for the second graveyard gun to show up. Refreshing Canada Post tracking every hour, why do things sit in Mississauga for so long?

And your right, for an angled foregrip was expensive. 45 bucks covered whatever Treatstock takes off the top, printing, shipping and 5 bucks to the designer (that was my choice, minimum is a dollar but I figured his time and creativity was worth more than that). I didn't mind paying because I couldn't find what I wanted on the market. I received the part, and broke it within 10 minutes. Printing company offered to do me a new one for a very reasonable price, I believe they are new to printing by mail and looking to build a customer base. Based in Quebec and pretty good communication, would have them print again but not through treatstock, I'd deal with the guy direct.

Have been in contact with the designer, having some background in CAD/Modeling I recommended some refinements which I not too humble to admit he is incorporating into the design, first one is coming off the printer in a couple of days. Should improve durability and appearance. He has very graciously offered to send me one for the cost of shipping.

As for the offer of printing, absolutely. Back in the day, oh the good ole days, I had a CNC Mill, CNC Lathe, Mastercam, and Autodesk Inventor at my disposal whenever I wanted them. Not having that capability kills me.
