Paint job?

So I've got my M3 apart and I"m fixing the nozzle. So now I'm thinking that since the gun is apart... I'm gonna paint it...

Just got back from crappy tire and saw this really cool looking paint from krylon called "Make It Stone!"
It's basically a Desert Camo in a can and it's textured...
Here's a few pics of me painting a piece of cardboard trying to get a feel for the paint...

and then I covered the stone paint with an O.D. paint

I'm thinking I colour it sparely with the OD? dunno yet...
But before I do it... just wanted to get the opinion of the board?

Sorry for the crappy pics... my camera sucks... but I keep spending money on Airsoft rather than that

don't you wish they made a program that allows you to see what would your gun look like with camo and stuff...besides photoshop that takes skills

I did the same kind of thing with my M40, I took the gun apart then sprayed the stock with excel speckle stone then gave it some OD tan and brown krylon. it looks ok but dont go spray crazy

Jebus how difficult is it to get apart, and how difficult was it to put it back together?

So that you or some other could come into my new thread and tell me to use the search function? Sounds like a plan champ. No hand feelings, but I'm not falling for that one.
