Magpul PTS or VFC?
Hi guys, been reading up a bunch over the last few weeks, since I joined, almost ready to pick something up. Have an opportunity to pick up either a Magpul PTS Masada , VFC SR16, DB SCAR (upgraded hopup, gearbox, TBB and deans wired), all 3 selling for the same price. Leaning towards the VFC. Don't know much about the Magpul PTS, everyone always says you get what you pay for in airsoft, and the MSRP on the Masada was about $600 I believe. Are they really that good?

My recommendation is to go VFC and add Magpul furniture. The Masada is more tricky to upgrade when the time comes.

VFC are reputably known their amazing external builds! After purchasing the VFC Mk18 I will never buy from another manufacturer with the exception of G&P. Internals on VFC are nothing amazing but definitely good enough for normal use. Ive thrown some of the more advanced upgrades into mine and it is easily now one of the best looking guns around and the performance is just amazing!!! Hope that gives you a little insight on at least the VFC quality.
Cheers, ~Ghost~

Masada's are good, but incredibly overpriced.
I would recommend a VFC. You get what you pay for! there internals are easier to work with and you will have a solid CNC'd outer body with all the bells and whistle's. PS anything Magpul PTS is overpriced as balls.
