Problem with CA SLR-105

Damn , my CA is broken If anybody can help me , it will be much appreciated . So basicly i go out to do some target practice. I shoot my gun about 5 or 6 times on semi auto . Then , suddenly it stops shooting. All i can hear from the gun is that the piston is being pulled back. I open it up and i feel the mini to large tamiya wire burning hot. All the other wires were okay , in a good temp. So i disconnect the wire and plug it back in , Nothing , just the wire getting really hot again. I leave the mini to large wire unplugged for a while , while i go eat dinner. I come back plug it back in , it shoots full auto for like 10 shots and stops again and i can feel the wire (mini to large) is really hot. Please help :S (my gun is a Classic Army SLR-105)

Did you charge the battery? Because they don't sell it to you with a charge on it

Furthermore, the wires WILL get hot as you shoot. Reason being the stock wires are crap, so the added resistance causes them to build heat quickly.
But if they're getting hot without cycling the gun, you likely have a short in the wiring or a defective motor. That would cause your battery to drain extremely quickly and heat up the wires.

If the wires are getting hot without you firing the gun, STOP plugging in the battery. You're doing more damage each time you try firing the gun. Either try a different battery or take the gun to a gun doctor or someone that knows their way around an AEG. It does sound like you either have a short or the switch assembly could be damaged.
