Average Repair Cost by a Gun Doc?

Hey, I just want to ask the quick question of:
How much does it cost for a gun doc to diagnose/repair your gun? (Please tell me the cost for a small repair and the cost of something like an overhaul...)

Yes, I used the search tool.....
I just want to know how much it costs on average....

Why don't you contact a gundoc near you and ask for a quote about your specific problem?

What kind of repairs are you looking at? Some so called "gun docs" don't charge much, because they haven't really got a clue as to what they're doing. Some others really know their shit and charge 80 to the hour.

Shims are cheap, a KA trigger assembly can cost $35.

Just looking to fix the "click but no firing" issue and properly shim the gears so that I can use a freakin 8.4v battery instead of a LiPo...because LiPos tend to overheat. A lot.

Doesn't matter. Repairs are charged by the hour and you pay for parts.

By the "click but no firing" issue, do you mean you pull the trigger but nothing happens?

I got a set of shims for 3 bucks, I got cheap VS shims from AirsoftDepot because i don't see the difference in shims. If a gun is lipo ready, shouldn't that mean it can easily take 8.4?
