Hi guys,
I found this website which says they accept internationnal orders (but at our own risks) and I wanted to know if any of you guys already have been there and if it's safe to buy from them. Thank you!

you were lucky on that one, but you shouldn't take another chance, what are you searching for exactly?

( btw the best way to get it is by getting age verified)

It's the TSD SD97. Yea I don't have that much time for age verification right now, so it will have to wait a bit..

Lol, I love it when people say they dont have time.

I'm assuming thats because you're underage.

Dont waste your money on that garbage, its a POS anyway. Save up your money for when you get age verified, the wait is worth it, believe me.

How long would it take to ship that gun up to Canada? Then, when (yes, when... not if) it gets seized, how long would it take you to make that money back to try again?

Seriously, get AV'd. You're in Montreal, I can only assume there are multiple AVers available, confirmation takes about a week, and then you have a few more shopping options open up to you. Not having time is a bit of a BS reason.

That gun is widely available in canada....lol

Dont tell us you couldnt find it, all canadian retailers carry it

BTW: the TSD l96 is just a rebranded China made L96....

PPS: you can find fully upgraded ones for almost the same price as buying a brand new stock one here on the forum.... (since nobody buys them ....)

Lol look at what this american website says about canadian orders. If I follow what you said, I assume most of what they say is lies, like the 15% chance it gets seized?

I just found it on this website, a canadian retailer : http://www.shootsoft.ca/v2/product.php?id_product=516

But it's just a little bit overpriced (about 200$ more than the ones you can find on american websites).

But yea, if you find anymore of them, I'm happy to take a look at them since my order will absolutely get seized if I order it in the US.

If the shipping parcel states what it is and what the FPS or meter per second muzzle velocity is, it will usually clear without issue. These are classified as "uncontrolled firearms".

Import away... just ensure that what the item is and the velocity is posted on the shipping ticket on your parcel. Do not allow them to write "toy parts" or the like, it must say what it is; eg, "AIRSOFT - TSD Tactical SD97 Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle" and make them quote the FPS, get them to chrono with .20gram BBs before paying to ensure it's velocity is greater than 407FPS (430FPS is preferred).

This may take time to get it shipped also as the CBSA might send it to the RCMP for testing. Be calm and patient and respond clearly to any requests and if they do seize your item, quote the above in your reply or appeal and it will be cleared.
But what if it's over 500 fps, is there any problems with that? Because I remember reading somewhere in the FAQ about airsofts being legal to import as long as it's over 407 but less than 500.

(^look at the second post)

The TSD SD97 is "supposed" to shoot at 550fps, but there are various videos where we can see it goes over 600fps..

It is considered a "controlled firearm" if it fired over 500 or more than some energy level, I am not sure which.

Sorry but spreading truth is against the rules... er... sorry "Reason: Showing non verified members how to import/purchase guns. This is a serious no no." just got an infraction... ridiculous...
