TM tracer on M4

Hi!
Ok, I purchase a M4, and a tracer was included. However....how do I put this on the M4? It feels like it is impossile to unscrew the end of the barrel of the M4 to fix the tracer...and I can't ask to the seller since he got banned :/

You need to remove the flashider first I believe, there may be a grub screw somewhere if it wont budge. Check that first to avoid wrecking the threads.

Yes, as Steven said, there will (93.75% of the time) be a grub screw on your flash hider. Turn it out with an allan wrench and remove the flash hider - be sure to turn it clock-wise to loosen as (91.5% of the time) it'll be Counter Clock Wise (CCW) threading... replace with tracer unit and you're good to go.

YouTube - How to remove an airsoft m4/m16 flash hider

Youtube is great for this kind of question. Also, the thread is negative, so you'll be unscrewing and screwing "the wrong side".

Well even after taking the srew out I was able to take out the flash hider. But is was not easy: it was glued. Who the hell glue their flash hider?!

Probably locktited. Common thing. If the whole barrel/flash hider/whatever assembly is metal, I would heat it before applying force.

If it had an orange tip (meaning imported from the US), the flash hiders are all glued on to conform to US laws. People typically remove them in Canada, or paint them black.

Otherwise, someone put locktite on it, because sometimes they tend to come loose and fall off from the vibration of shooting the gun.

Sometimes they put loctite on the threads, and you have to use hot water to help get it off.
