My Army Of Two-ish loadout.

I mostly use this gear for my independent films but I'm slowly getting into airsoft since most of the guns I use in the film are airsoft(they look the most realistic) and I was wondering if this was a good loadout inspired by AO2.

Army of Twoish? A little. But it kinda reminds me more of "The Punisher"... I think it's the mask. I'm sure you already know this but I'd be careful about posting this one on social networks (facebook, twitter) your friends might think you're a lil' bit whack :P

Lol, I did realize this before I posted this on Facebook although I have a folder of pictures containing just stuff from my films. And I do agree with you, I got the idea from both The Punisher and AO2.
And thanks Najohn, I was trying to avoid all the mass amounts of camo. Black seemed a better choice.

Just wondering. Can you actually play like that at all ?
No seriously, how do you manage to move all that armor or even to call your hits.

its not the first time people asking me that.

I will politely reply

Since most of the armor pieces are hard shell plastic - every hit from far or close makes a loud audible dang. actually I can sence hits much much better then just with normal MOLLE tactical gear. where the hits are dampened a lot by the cordura material.

I have given a lot of engineering skills and ergonomic skills to my suit.

1. full articulation of all joints. I can move and run and duck and twist and turn the same way as without. - I paid great attention to articulation and freedom of movement - you can ask around the guys in Quebec who actually have seen me with it ( seldom occurence though )

2. the suit is heavy since it is real kinetic impact armor. but I am no small guy and can take the weight.

3. heat - in the first proto suit did I actually really heat collapse at +28 celcius. SO a cooling system ( 4 cooling fans with internal vent hose routing to distribute the cool air ) was installed. runs on a AEG 12V battery for about 2 Hours straight.

4. Looks - you should see the faces of poeple when I approach them in my usual rather blunt and brutal ways. - the suit does creat an impression on others. especially in the dark when I popp up on someone ( like in the shopping mall games I organize together with my 2Ic Cool dog)

to answer your question shortly:

Yes I do play in it - it did safe my chest and sternum from a nasty fall onto a pointy bolder one time and it is actually pretty good when not even better in hit detection due to the loud " dang - dings - clunks " it makes when I get hit.

But the sacrifize is weight and heat. - you have to be in shape to wear that a day long and run and jolt like the others.
But one thing I always love on it - no matter the ground - if gravel or rocks - or dirt or ICE - you just dive on the ground .

You can be very reckless in your movemements since you are armored and protected from head to toe.

I hope I could help.

I really do like your suit Boss, but I wouldn't imagine myself to run around in fully-protected head-to-toe armour. Although it's great, I'm not a very big fan of drowning in my own sweat. :P

Hay Caspian could you possibly PM me a Kit list for your rig? Im definitely interested in building an AO2 light armour rig. Planing on adding a few changes to it so I dont cramp your stile.

@ Boss could you do the same? If not then possibly discus payment to build one in my size? But Im planing on using a different load baring vest.

Thanks guys

Jimbo, my setup is very simple although all of the accessories(crotch guard, mag pouches, holster, etc) is all hand made, including the skull on my helmet. I used a very thick maluble foam for the parts that is great for constructing whatever you wish.

Health warning

Halth warning

If you used a two component liquid base insulation foam a.k.a spray foam

Then dont wear The mask anymore

The foam is emitting toxic fumes even after curing

SymptĂ´me are headache , burning sinus, eye dryness etc.
And it attacks your lung tissue

If u used that sort Of foam
