WE G39k vs WE M4 (both GBBR)

Im seriously looking to purchase one of these 2 guns, but im stuck in the middle of both. From my research i found that We is one of the best you can get for GBBR's and the most relistic. I love both guns for feel, design and looks, but i just cant choose one. From what i found these are things about them:

G36
Pros – More kick, more comfortable, solid design, magazines are sup to bet the best you can get with 3 port system

Cons - Not much you can do.

M4
Pros – Solid design. Lots of parts.

Cons - Everyone owns one.

Looking at WE G39 RAS GBBR http://www.airsoftgi.com/images/airs...RAS_GBBR_A.jpg

Carrying the mags for the g36 will be more of a pain. As not nearly as many mag pouches are designed for them.

whatever you choose, make sure it's the open bolt design.

I highly recommend the G39...most reliable WE GBBR to date in my opinion!
I like the fact that there's not much to 'tinker' with in regards to the internals, simply because it works just fine!

So what is the big thing about open bolts, why do alot of people like them so much?

Also i just can't pick which one, more say the G39 is more real then the m4

i love armalites, but in this case, i would select the g39. the 36 is such a comfortable and wieldable gun. all you want is optics on your gun anyways, a gun isnt a chiuaua you need to asseccorize.

I own Both

G39.. great gun , solid shooter, easy take down and maintenance , Mags are a big PITA.. you have to buy mag pouches that will fit them.. so you pretty much have to buy from Europe, but you can clip 2 together..
Mags are not easy to get , they are in short supply ( and a serious pain in the ass to load , you must use the provided loading tool )

M4 - I have the closed bolt, I own 10 of them, so I must like them
Open bolt M4 is not available in Canada yet. and may only be available via conversion.

commonly available gear fits the mags so this is a big plus, also mags can be loaded with a conventional loader.

keep in mind though all mags are realcap, so a reasonable mag loadout will cost you $400 + so by the time you have the gun landed and enough mags you will have $1000 into the gun

@OP: hope you aren't planning on ordering from airsoftgi or anywhere else outside of Canada

And you're gonna have to wait a couple more years.

Closed bolt is an "older" design... and has lots of problems...lol (there's lots to read about it)

Open bolt is much better!

the lugs on the WE G36 mags are to RS specs.. not like AS versions I have seen
the lugs are large.. I've tried em in the HSGI universal pouches.. and they get hung up ( though not as bad as in some other pouches I have)

I don't see how its a con that "Everyone owns one."

That could be a big help in the field when you run dry on mags - it has happened a couple times now where I tossed a team-mate a couple extra mags in the middle of a game so they could continue to run their weapon.

This is BS The manufacture states that the "closed bolt" design is more robust and reliable than the open bolt.

I have direct evidence through exhaustive use , including professional training contracts...

how bout you? do you own or have you used either one?

The WETTI M4 closed bolt rocks!

Anyone who says otherwise just doesn't know what they are talking about.

By far one of the most reliable and enjoyable airsoft weapon systems I have used since I started playing airsoft in 2003.
