We g18c

Just ordered one from Torontoairsoft.com and was told by a friend they are terrible...

I read several conflicting reviews online as well as a dozen youtube vids on people using them with zero issues.

Is it just like most things where some people hate them and others love them?

It'll be my first GBB pistol...hoping I didn't make a bad purchase...

WE makes a good Glock. Although full auto on the G18 will put a lot more stress on components than semi auto. And a dedicated semiauto (WE G17) will be more reliable because there are less parts.

Spring guide mod is a must on the we auto glocks. I am hoping to do a 3 year review on mine. I own a real glock and the we glock is closest IMO. Only thing to break on mine was the outer barrel cracked. I jb welded it before it broke off. Good to go now. I havent even gone through a nozzle yet.

I wouldn't call WE glock terrible at the same time I wouldnt call them the best. Then if you upgrade some of the internals parts you could have a pretty decent item.

I have an upgraded WE G17 gen 4 with an aftermarket slide, barrel and return spring. It works and I feel that I have no need to buy a TM glock. That being said you have a WE G18, I dont have much experience with one. Although I hear you are more likely to run into mechanical problem in the hammer group.

How is the font post screw holding up on your WE glock? Also you said that the WE glock is closest to the real glock. How does the trigger pull compare? I hear that the KWA/KSC glock trigger was closer to the real glock trigger. Although I was never able to compare in person.

Well the trigger post is still intact. Mine just has a pdi w hold rubber and that is it. Trigger pull is MUCH lighter than real steel and i prefer it that way. Real glock have heavy double action trigger pulls.

Can someone guide me on the spring guide mod? I'd prefer not for this weapon to last...

Basically, you do the spring guide mod for the weapon (more specifically, the loading nozzle) to last...

Mitchell, maybe you could do something wise, and keep your convo to PMs and OUT of these forums?

So I bought a that very Glock from Toronto Airsoft before the holidays when it was on sale, so lemme add some thoughts for you.

1) Shipping was questionable - came in a box with a single lair of foam and the gun loose inside. My assumption is the G18 package Toronto sold me (Pistol + Barrel Extension + Silencer + Original Barrel) was something they were putting together in-store and shipping out. It was not broken or damaged, but I expect if I didn't live two hours away, it might have been with more time in the postal system.

2) The gun feels amazing - This Glock is very light, and yet sturdy. Dis-assembly is easy, and working on the gun feels comfortable. The slide is smooth, mag release is good, and all-in-all the gun feels just right for me. For a side-arm, it's weighted perfectly.

3) It shoots nicely - It's no beast out of the box, chorno'ing at 360ish with .2s, but it will certainly do the job. Full Auto is smooth, and works as intended.

All in all, a good purchase for me in the $150 range. If you're looking for a handcannon that will break chronos out of the box, look elsewhere, but if you want something that is light, reliable and works well as a fall-back weapon or CQB clearer, you should be happy with it.
