you could try tiger stripe for a different load out rather that the traditional khakis. try to steer away from nationality specific patterns like ACU and cadpat for example.

I'd use some sorta Russian pattern like Kamysh, Russian Flecktarn, KLMK, or something along those lines. An old OD rig, like a Nam era rig. An OD Sweater (They have German OD ons at Surplus stores. They come with a german flag on the side but with a seam ripper you can pick them off.). And for boots wear some Nikes. I have seen pictures of Russian military personel and they are wearing Nikes.

I know ACU was a bad idea but I just really didn't know what kind of pattern would work .
Thanks for the ideas everyone |

German Flecktarn, Tiger camo, Wasp, or Urban, though urban really isnt that practical. Those were all for pants. or just get OD or khaki pants. Get a black shirt or some shirt with a russian popstar on it or russian writing. A thick camoflauged jacket or a vest with many magazine holders, but not a rig, and a holster. Wear cut off finger gloves.

I think that a Eastern European PMC would look a lot like a Western PMC. These ain't Third World countries, folks.

A lot of Eastern European contractors (in this particular case, mercenaries are often a more accurate label) come from Croatia, as the Croat army was trained by MPRI to, arguably, the standards of a first world nation. During this training (and the subsequent Train&Equip program), a lot of Croat soldiers developed a taste for emulating American style kit and are probably still doing that, but lagging behind by, say, 5 years.

You also got a lot of merc's in the Yugoslav war, all sides, if you want to talk about jihadists in bosnia, trained by americans- islamist "green berets" so to speak
