Iraqi insurgent guns seized by US
Oringinaly posted here http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=4&f=64&t=72580
Can anyone name what some of the guns in the lower pictures are? Looks like alot of this stuff is vintage and maybe belongs in a museum. |

I see something that looks like a Browning Hi-Power on the bottom pic, one with wooden grips and a PPSh (russian ww2 smg) on the second pic from the bottom, next to the guns drum magazine. Also on 7th pic from the bottom something that looks like russian semi auto belt fed 30mm AGS grenade launcher. Ammo belt on one of the pics looks like it came from Maxim machine gun.
Also, that bunch of big MGs looks like a 14.5mm KPV's. P.S Wanna see piles of guns 100 times bigger, check this out http://www.project-x.org.uk/armsdumpindex.html Don't really know where that stuff came from, some people said it's Vietnam after the war.

The sweedish K looks like a Gustav M45 from the vietnam era, my dad who was in the Iranian Mech Inf during the Iran-Iraq war was given one of these.

just thought i'd point out that the guy's Storm Shadow tattoo is really cool.
the big cannon in the lower pics is a 57mm recoiless rifle there is a browning 1919 up there that just seems wayyy out of place. I'd hate to have to fight with those guns. |

Hell, even somalians during the crisis in 1993 had them, go watch Blackhawk Down, in some scenes you can clearly see them using G3's. |

I'm willing on putting forward $20 Canadian that the guy in the photo is from the Souther-USA or Montana. I've NEVER seen ANYONE from outside of those areas ever keep such a pussy moustache on their face. It's disgraceful.
AMAZINGLY 'collection' though. Good find Slick!
