Iraq Army Impression (Post Saddam), 2005
Took my new loadout for a spin today, trying to emulate the post war Iraq Army, specifically the newly equipped force with the US and UK hand-me-downs!

Yeah same here, it looks good and is relatively rare compared to other desert camos! I bought it for a US 1st Gulf War impression, but liked the look of this better!
The reason the US changed to the 3 colour desert camo was that the choc chip was designed for fighting in the US if the Ruski's invaded: Fighting in Texas, Arizona etc. The black and white chips were put in to match the rocky terrain in these states. As the 1st Gulf War went on however the design obviously needed a re-think if the US was going to be continually be involved in the Middle East.

Very nice as usual Beastor. Only question is that since the new Iraqi army is on "our side" now.....is this in the wrong section? LOL
