Toyota trucks have been used as weapon platforms in almost all african conflicts since the mid 80s to early 90s; it was the decisive element in the Chadian victory over Gaddafi's forces in the Toyota War(http://www.time.com/time/magazine/ar...921683,00.html).

The recoiless rifle in one shot still has the US info plate on it m40a2 dated 1977 Inspected 1978 notice that the rebel weapons all have english instructions and the guys are running around with FN like Canada used to use, and new rifles like the FN 2000. The Toyota Hilux thats not around in North America but very common in the Common Wealth.
